YOUNG LIFE BEGINS IN ASHEVILLE IN THE LATE 60'S.
Since 1969, our leaders and staff began showing young people how much God cares about them by showing up in their world and sharing the message of God's love through Jesus in ways and words they could understand and relate to.

VOLUNTEERS ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF YOUNG LIFE
In BuncoYL, we have 4 full-time staff, 3 part-time staff and over 41 volunteers that are reaching kids. These leaders give hundreds of hours every week to kids all across the area.

STUDENTS WENT TO YOUNG LIFE CAMP LAST YEAR
Last year, Asheville/Buncombe County Young Life took over two hundred high school and middle school kids to camp. They had the best time of their lives! Check the camp tab to sign up for summer camp or weekend camp options!

Our staff and leaders go to dismissal, arrival, sports games, band concerts, and more, meeting kids and showing them that they have value and a purpose.
